Livestock Farming
Commercial cattle, goat, and sheep farming on 2,084 Ha of Karstveld savannah. Carrying capacity of 130 LSU or 780 SSU at 75% stocking rate.

Poultry Farming
Broiler and layer operations managed primarily by women workers, providing a reliable source of protein and income for the farm.

Pig rearing as part of the diversified livestock strategy, adding another protein source and revenue stream to the farm portfolio.

Fish farming operations contributing to protein supply and creating additional employment, particularly for women on the farm.

Bush harvesting for charcoal production combats encroachment, increases livestock carrying capacity, and opens land for cropping.

About Us
Farm Lusthof, registered as Lusthof Farming T/A Titma Investment (No. 243, Unit C), is situated approximately 35 km northeast of Kamanjab on the C40 road within the Kunene Region. The farm spans 2,084 hectares of rich Karstveld terrain characterized by Thorn Bush Savannah vegetation — home to Mopani, Acacia, and Mushara tree species. Demarcated for livestock farming with strong potential for crop production, the farm receives 300–400 mm of annual rainfall. Bush encroachment is actively combated through controlled harvesting and charcoal production, simultaneously increasing carrying capacity and opening land for diverse agricultural activities.

Background
The founder of Lusthof Farming is a 55-year-old widow with over three decades of farming experience. Her journey began in 1994 alongside her late husband and deepened after his passing in 2014, eventually leading her to transition into full-time farming in July 2024. Resettled under the Namibia Government Resettlement Program in 2019, she has since built a resilient and purpose-driven agricultural enterprise. Through Lusthof Farming, she is strongly committed to women’s empowerment, with women making up more than half of the workforce and leading daily operations across poultry, aquaculture, and horticulture. Her work not only sustains her family but also creates meaningful opportunities and livelihoods for women in the Kunene Region.
